Video Rural Development Trust programs overview

Scope and Objective




There has been some good education outcomes, particularly post university education between underprivileged and other communities…the advance has been impressive, [but] the underprivileged still lag behind not only due to their diverse socio-economic background and also their low starting points and communication skills caused by their exclusion even in the global competitive recent developments and trends. 

"These people face discrimination in labour market and find hard to move from casual labour to non-farm occupations that should be kept at a distance and away from economic and social activities. While it is obvious that more effective implementation of conventional anti-poverty programs are essential for tackling the problem of exclusion. Considering the objective of ‘inclusive growth’, our Organization well -studied in detail the needs of the younger generation and got focused on alleviate the obstacles to inclusion by enhancing their hidden professional skills through our Rayalaseema Development Trust Professional School. It may bring changes in the attitude of the condition of excluded groups and deliver equitable growth, development and overcome of unemployment problem.

About RDT Professional School of Foreign Languages




“Fundación Vicente Ferrer-Rural Development Trust” (FVF-RDT) opened in 2012 a Professional School of Foreign Languages. Courses are focused on teaching English, mainly spoken, Spanish, French and German focusing on the four skills along with basic computing skills. Courses address Anantapur and Kurnool underprivileged graduates, in order to enhance their skills and prepare them to be able to find good jobs. The age group is between 21-25 years old. 


The Rayalaseema Development Trust global professional training centre, in Anantapur, is a residential school. The school is committed to provide education for those who are looking for jobs. The school campus is planned as a secure, comfortable and convenient facilities, providing students with an inspiring and motivating environment. The boarding facilities are like a home away from home, offering all comforts.


The academic first year commenced on 9th April 2012. The duration of the course was aprox.12 months. FVF-RDT counts on highly qualified professionals to carry out this activity. Teachers and teacher trainers, both volunteers and Rayalaseema Development Trust employees who have proved professional competency in the past desig the courses. 


In late September 2014, a new selection of 40 students, including some with physical handicaps, will be beginning the third edition of our School courses, which are currently being evaluated.
